KJA is delighted to welcome highly experienced stakeholder engagement and communications professional Sara Wilson to the team. Sara joins the Senior Leadership Team at KJA, as Program Director and leads the Urban and Regional Development business unit.
Prior to joining KJA, Sara worked at the NSW State Government’s urban renewal agency, UrbanGrowth NSW, for four years. At UrbanGrowth NSW, she led a team of engagement, communications and marketing professionals, supporting delivery of major urban renewal programs across Sydney and the Hunter. She worked on sensitive, high profile projects, and led a number of innovative engagement programs including for the Bays Precinct Sydney, Parramatta North Growth Centre, Parramatta Road Urban Transformation Program, Newcastle Light Rail, Sydney Metro Northwest, and the Riverstone Scheduled Lands.
Prior to this, Sara spent 20 years working in communications and engagement consultancy positions and managed projects across both the government and private sectors. During this period, she worked on numerous issues-rich projects, and facilitated community, landowner and agency workshops across sectors and industries.
Sara holds a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Economics and Certificate in Public Participation from the IAP2. She brings additional specialist stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, facilitation and media relations skills to the growing team of consultants within the KJA team.
