Growth in our cities, and in our office
Just like our cities, KJA continues to grow with new staff starting in our Sydney office.
Catherine Timbrell, Jared Ingham and Jacqueline Lorenzetti have all joined us this month, and are already rolling up their sleeves criss-crossing Sydney to deliver on our client projects.
Jared Ingham, Project Manager joined the Sydney office on Wednesday 28th February and will be spending most of his time in Andrew Abbey’s Urban and Regional Development team. It’s been an eventful start to his time at KJA with Jared helping to issue five new and updated new business proposals in his first week. One of these, supporting the expansion plans of a terrific primary school for children with special needs, has already commenced.
Jared moved to Sydney from London, where he worked in communications agencies with a very similar focus to KJA for twelve years. Besides the weather (with parts of his homeland currently covered in deep snow), he says that he’s been particularly impressed by Sydney’s beaches, public transport, clean streets… and beer.
Catherine Timbrell, Project Coordinator, is a third year student of the Bachelor of City Planning at the University of NSW. Catherine’s aim is to develop a deeper understanding of city planning especially on how we engage with the community in urban planning discussions.
Catherine will work as a Project Coordinator in the Project Delivery Team and will work closely with the Urban and Regional Development Business Unit under the leadership and mentoring of Program Director Andrew Abbey.
Jacqueline Lorenzetti joined Tricia Wunsch’s Social Infrastructure team in the Sydney office on Tuesday 6th March as a Project Manager. She quickly jumped into helping the team prepare two business proposals.
Since she moved to Australia from her native United States three years ago, Jacqueline has been working in various communications roles at Macquarie University. Her background in the States includes her roles as External Communications Manager at Disney in Orlando and Media Relations Manager at one of the largest healthcare systems in the country. She has also lived in the UK and has visited nearly 50 countries with her husband. Topping her list of favourite destinations are Sydney, Munich and Barcelona.
